About the Minnesota GLBTA Campus Alliance
Our Mission
The Minnesota GLBTA Campus Alliance strives to build a statewide network of individuals and organizations working for equality and justice on issues of gender and sexual diversity; empower the voices of groups that are underserved and underrepresented in our campus communities; and create welcoming, affirming, and safe environments on college and university campuses throughout the state of Minnesota.
What We Do
Since March 2006, the MN Campus Alliance has been living out this mission by offering events, programming, and opportunities aimed at building community, developing leaders, and creating welcoming, affirming, and safe environments for GLBTA individuals.
Such programs include:

Campus Resource Guide, an online and paperback listing of all known GLBTA resources on college and university campuses in Minnesota;

Training & Education Initiatives, which include Ally Training, Train the Trainer, (Trans)Gender 101, facilitated dialogues, and workshops;

Minnesota OUT! Campus Conference, an annual statewide conference that discusses issues facing GLBTA students, staff, and faculty;

Spring Dinner, an annual dinner that brings students, staff, and faculty from around the state together to network and share best practices;

MBLGTACC Bus, an opportunity to bus with other students, staff, and faculty from around the state to attend MBLGTACC each year when held out of state;

Mentoring, Leadership & Educational Partnerships, which connect youth and college students; and
