The MN Campus Alliance provides opportunities for youth to connect with college and university students, staff, and faculty from across the state.
A program of Family & Children's Service, A Rainbow After the Storm is a one-year leadership development and community organizing program for GLBTA youth ages 15–18. Youth will increase their power and capacity to organize for positive system changes and will work together to create a large, visible, and mobilized constituency through civic engagement and community building that will achieve tangible results through organizing efforts.
The MN Campus Alliance is partnering with Minneapolis Public Schools to create pipelines between local Twin Cities colleges and the youth involved in Minneapolis Gay Straight Alliances. More information on this initiative will be available in the upcoming months!
The MN Campus Alliance is proud to host the first-ever Campus Pride College Admission Fair in the Midwest! Free and open to the public, this fair allows students and their families the opportunity to interact with colleges and universities that value GLBTA people. The fair features campuses that have demonstrated this commitment by participating in the Campus Pride LGBT-Friendly Campus Climate Index. Full information available here.
